This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to all users of the RentoSmart Platform, including property owners, brokers, tenants, and any third parties who interact with Christus Ventures LLP (“RentoSmart”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). The users are hereinafter referred to as “You” and/or “Your”.

By using the Platform, You agree to the terms of this Policy and consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information as described herein. If you use the Platform on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you are authorized to provide consent on their behalf.

1. Information We Collect

When you register on or use the Platform, you may be required to provide certain personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and details about properties or leads. You agree that any information you provide is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. In addition to information you provide directly, we may automatically collect technical data when you interact with the Platform, such as your IP address, device and browser type, access times, and other usage information. The data collected from users are not personally identifiable but are anonymized and de-identified which saved and processed as an aggregate of all the data collected over a period of time used to monitor and analyse the usage of our Platform.

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will promptly delete such information.

2. Purpose of Collection of Information

The information collected by RentoSmart is used to operate and manage the Platform, facilitate property listings and lead generation, communicate with users regarding queries, updates, conduct research and analysis, and maintain the security and integrity of the Platform. Personal information may also be processed to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.

Personal information may also be used for analytics, product improvement, and personalized recommendations, provided such use complies with applicable data protection laws and this Policy.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

RentoSmart does not sell your personal information. Personal information may be shared with service providers who assist in the operation of the Platform or the delivery of services, with third parties as required by law or governmental authority, or in connection with business transfers, mergers, or acquisitions.

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access or data breaches.

5. Data Retention

Personal information, including registration details and lead data, will be retained for **180 days after account deletion**, unless otherwise required by law. Sensitive personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil its purpose and comply with legal obligations.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience on the Platform, personalize content, analyse traffic, and provide relevant offers. You may choose to disable cookies through your browser settings, although this may limit certain features and functionality of the Platform.

Certain actions, such as deletion of account data, may affect your access to Platform services. You may also withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.

9. Changes to this Policy

Christus Ventures LLP reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any such changes.

Christus Ventures LLP has appointed a Grievance Officer to address privacy-related concerns. You may contact the officer at grievance@rentosmart.com. All disputes arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, India.
